Join us for two evenings of baseball instruction, skill development, and fun at the Kenly Parks & Recreation Youth Baseball Camp! Hosted by current North Johnston Middle School Baseball Coach and former North Hohnston High and Louisburg College player, Tanner Snipes, participants will have the opportunity to improve their fundamentals through drills and instruction focused on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and overall game knowledge. The camp is open to players of all skill levels and is designed to help athletes build confidence, develop their abilities, and enjoy the game of baseball in a positive and encouraging environment.

Hosted by current and former college players Lily Petty (Corinth Holders High School - Columbia International University and Brooklynn Schwartz (West Johnston High School - Bluefield University/Pitt Community College), participants will have the opportunity to improve their fundamentals through drills and instruction focused on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and overall game knowledge. The camp is open to players of all skill levels and is designed to help athletes build confidence, develop their abilities, and enjoy the game of softball in a positive and encouraging environment.

Kenly Parks & Recreation's Softball and Baseball Programs are designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of baseball and softball in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. The Softball and Baseball Programs provides youth with the opportunity to develop baseball/softball skills while learning the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Players are introduced to age-appropriate fundamentals including hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, base running, and game strategy. As players progress, greater emphasis is placed on skill development, rules of the game, and friendly competition. Coaches focus on instruction and positive reinforcement to ensure a supportive experience for players of all skill levels.

Our 6U Co-Ed Soccer program is designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. Participants will learn basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through age-appropriate practices and games. The focus is on skill development, sportsmanship, physical activity, and having fun while building confidence and a love for the game. No prior soccer experience is required.
